IC's-7400 Series

The 7400 series of TTL (transistor-transistor) logic was originally made with bipolar transistors in 1964. They were generally limited to a 5Vdc supply voltage. Later they were manufactured using CMOS field-effect transistors which made them more like the 4000 series in function and with wider power supply variations.
