Capacitors-> (55)Linear taper potentiometers have an even distribution of resistance through a complete rotation of the shaft. These types of potentiometers are used in devices where the ratio must be proportionate to the position of the shaft rotation or slider position. This, in effect, makes linear taper pots perfect for guitar tone controls as they give the tone a very even sound when making adjustments. We have a large selection of linear pots with 1/4" D-shaft and 6mm knurled shafts as well as slide pots.
