Capacitors-> (55)Reed switches are electrical devices operated by an applied magnetic field. They consist of a pair of contacts sealed in a glass envelope. The contacts are typically normally open when there in no magnetic field applied and close when a magnetic field is applied. When the magnetic field has been removed the contacts go back to their original positions.
