The TSB424 is a 120Vac 1A solid state delay on break timing module, it has an onboard adjustable time delay from 5 to 600 seconds, in 4 standard ranges. This covers over 90%of all OEM and commercial appliance timing applications. The repeat accuracy is +/-2%. Its operating voltage is 120 VAC. The TSB424's 1A steady state, 10A inrush rated solid state output is perfect for direct control of solenoids, contactors, relays, lamps, buzzers, and small heaters. The TSB can be surface mounted with a single screw, or snapped on 35 mm DIN rail using the P1023-20 adaptor.

Operation: Input voltage must be applied before and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output energizes. The time delay begins when the initiate switch opens. The output remains energized during timing. At the end of the time delay, the output de-energizes. The output will energize if the initiate switch is closed and input voltage is re-applied.

Reset: Re-closing the initiate switch during timing resets the time delay. Loss of input voltage resets the output but does not reset the time delay.
You can use a fixed or adjustable resistor to set the desired timing.

There are 2 connections for the initiate switch. There are 2 connections for the external resistance timing adjustment, detailed below. Lastly 3 connections are for the 120VAC input voltage and the 1 amp load. Each side is marked on the device to indicate the connectors usage.
