Our miscellaneous connectors category groups together types of connectors that don't fall into a general group. You can find here a rare type of connector called a "Fahnestock Clip". This type of connector was patented around 1907 and was designed to hold a wire securely but release it with a push of the tab. It was generally used as a early radio breadboard connector, model train power connector etc. They are now commonly used in educational institutions where their ease of use and visible connections make it easy to teach the basics of simple circuits to elementary school students.
